SFA 2017

From 06/12/2017 to 09/12/2017

Dear Colleagues,

The annual congress of the “Francophone” Society of Arthroscopy will take place in Marseille from 6 to 9 December 2017 with Dr Abdou Sbihi and Thomas Cucurulo as congress presidents, who both are very committed to the SFA activities.

The SMA or Moroccan Society of Arthorscopy will be the invited society, with speakers involved in various occasions in the programme. We hope that it will atttract numerous participants in the Francophonie context.

One of the major assets of the congress will be a rich scientific programme in line with the 2016 edition in Paris.

You will find the 3 famous symposia, the lectures of our honored guests: Philippe Landreau, Joan Carles Monllau-Garcia, Philippe Neyret, Kim Seung Ho, but also the free papers, the current concept sessions, the mini-battles sessions, the “How I do”, the clinical panel case discussions, the “oups” sessions, the instructional courses, the numerous eposters, the technical videos… and of course the countless discussions in the corridors and on the sponsors’ booths.

Around this congress’ beating heart, the “SFA research day” on the regenerative surgery and the biologic stimulation will be scheduled on Wednesday. SFAquatique as part of the “SFA Mouvement”, the “satellites” sessions which this year will focus on the ankle, the SFA-Junior, hip, wrist-hand-elbow sessions, the pediatric session on Saturday morning… and undoubtedly our Marseille hosts will have prepared some pleasurable quality time.

Many years after the last SFA stage in Marseille in  1995, this will be also the occasion to rediscover this beautiful city which is the « European Capital of Sports » in 2017!

Let us meet in Marseille: many new things for the SFA and its members will be announced!

Dr Nicolas Graveleau, SFA's President
